After Hours Emergency – Dogs and Cats

As veterinary medicine grows in scientific knowledge and ability to treat more conditions through advances in knowledge, equipment and technique standards of care are also elevated. Treating emergency cases is one area where great advances have been made. Standards of care have risen to the extent that many animals that would previously have died, are now able to be saved.

However, the increased ability to treat emergencies is not possible without trained and available staff, specialized equipment that requires very intense training and 24 hour intensive care. We are simply not able to provide this level of service that all of our patients deserve. All after hours emergencies are referred to well staffed and trained emergency specialty hospitals.
