Heather Alflen, LVT
(Licensed Veterinary Technician)
Hi, my name is Heather and I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I graduated from Baker College of Flint in June of 2004 with an associates degree in Applied Science. In July 2005 I moved to Howell from Garden City to live on my little farm that I call home. I currently house three horses, a Saddlebred named Stet, an Arabian named Dancer and a mini named Peanut. The farm also has two dogs – an English Mastiff named Lilly and a Great Dane called Oscar. My final pets are two cats (TJ & Prince William). The final resident at our farm is my Husband Joe, whom I have been married to since September 9, 2006. In my spare time, my hobbies are riding my horses, caring for my pets and shopping.

Hi there, I’m Travis. Currently I attend school at Michigan State University. I am studying for a Bachelors of Animal Science degree and plan to apply to MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. My life long dream is to be an equine practitioner with a specialization in reproduction.
As an avid equestrian and animal lover, I have three horses; Lyndie, Princess and my new colt Aedan. As well, I have a beautiful cat named Calie. All of my animals mean the world to me, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the fantastic team at Kern Road!

When not at work I enjoy taking care of my home, gardening, spending time with my husband Chuck and my three cats, Monkey, BeeBee, and LD.

I graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science in May 2007. My husband Mike and I recently moved to Fowlerville from our home town of West Branch where we grew up. Our four legged family consists of two dogs - Maverick & Mikado and two Appaloosa horses - Brandy and Jazz. Spare time is spent scrapbooking, reading and we enjoy camping in the summer. I am excited to be part of Kern Road's veterinary team and meeting new people and their pets.
